Absolutely amazing food, I got the steak teriyaki bowl with vegetables along with a side of the ribs and it was amazing. Worth every penny plus the staff was nice, restaurant was clean.

The concept is as simple as the name and the food is soooooo goooooood! Barstow Station is of course the main attraction but if you just look across the street, you can find this hidden gem directly next to the gas station across from the burger place that starts with a T It's not the most attractive place but they are serving up some great food. The Works Bowl (chicken and steak, rice, veggies, green onion is optional and teriyaki and hot sauces) was amazing *chefs kiss*. I only opened the container to taste it and ended up eating half of my "to-go" order. So there's that! Keep up the good work and fast service.

SOOO GOOD - FOOD IS GREAT QUALITY UNEXPECTED GEM OF A PLACE IN BARSTOW!! Take a look at my picture with this review and be prepared to start drooling!! Will be stopping here everytime we pass through from now on. HAS A DRIVE THRU ordered the chicken and veggies bowl for $9.49 Chicken was grilled perfectly They chop it for you I added green onions The veggie bowl comes with broccoli and carrots but I opted for just broccoli The broccoli was steamed and had a nice bite to it, also they were perfectly cut in half You get a huge portion of food It comes over white rice which was cooked perfectly I'm just sad I didn't know about this place sooner!! The outside is a bit weathered but you're not going for the exterior decorating, you're going to eat their great food! Service is great, cashier was friendly.

This place doesn't look good from the outside and that kept me from going in however, once I tried their food OMG!! I go there usually on Fridays when I want a nutritionist meal that's cooked to order delicious!!! Service is good and the tables are clean

First timer. Close at 7pm indoors but drive thru is open until 8pm. Ordered the Half and half chicken and beef plate, no onion. Tasted pretty good, but it definitely needs the sauce that they give you on the side. It's a bit more expensive than the bowls but you get a lot more for sure. Server was nice and understanding when I had questions about their menu.

Very tasty!! The shrimp were perfectly cooked and spiced. Everything was fresh tasting and hot. The store is dated, but clean.

Just got done eating lunch at Just Grill It, in Barstow, on our way home from Vegas. We all wanted something that wasn't going to make us feel sluggish and tired, when we got back in the car, but we also didn't want to sit forever. Just Grill It fit the bill perfectly, with just enough on the menu (chicken, beef, salmon, tilapia, shrimp, salad) to please everyone, and nothing too heavy or greasy. Two of us had the combo beef and chicken plate, with green onions, and one of us had a chicken rice bowl. Both the chicken and beef were nicely charred but still tender, and everything was served with sides of teriyaki and hot sauce. It was easy to see this is a family-run spot, with what looked like a variety of family members running the different functions of the restaurant. Everyone seemed relaxed and generally happy to be around each other, which made for a relaxing dining experience. In the middle of our meal, someone came in and began digging in the trash for food. One of the staff offered to make this person a meal, rather than leaving them to dig for scraps or chasing them off. It was a very tender moment, with no drama, just an open-hearted person offering sustenance to someone who needed it. It made me so happy to be supporting an establishment that cares about the people in their community, I left a little extra something for the staff in the tip jar and will be SURE to stop again, the next time we're headed that way.

A must eat anytime your passing through Barstow, just trust me !! This place gets it right every single time, the meats taste fresh, the food comes out hot and it is marinated in the perfect amount of seasoning, requiring little to no sauce (depending on your preference). For $10 they offer a very decent sized portion of 1/2 chicken and 1/2 beef over rice and this is the perfect amount of food to hold you over on a long road trip without feeling sluggish. Their drive through is also super convenient and makes ordering super easy and quick, highly recommend.
